Lanark Field Days provide fun and exciting field trip opportunities for students in grades K-12 using a multi-disciplinary approach that promotes conservation education. Staff will choose and plan activities in regards to special topics requested by the teacher, group timetables, weather, and seasonal variations. Field trips will be even more exciting with the addition of the NaturePlex, the official Welcome and Education Center of the ANC that will be opening in October 2015. The facility will include a 100-seat theater/auditorium, a hands-on Discovery Hall with interactive nature displays, classroom, lunch spaces, and a gift shop.
