Lanark Field Days provide fun and exciting nature-based field trip opportunities for students in grades pre-K through 12. This is a really fun full-day field trip, geared especially toward grades 3-5, but all ages are welcome to attend with a parent. Our program topic is WILDLIFE & WOODS. We will have an apiary demonstration and pollinator hike.
Apiary Demonstration: Learn about the vital role pollinators play in our world while visiting the home of our ANC bees. Pollinator Hike: Discover the relationships between plant and animal species while exploring pollination concepts through a series of interactive games and a guided plant hike.
Close toed shoes must be worn, and bring your own picnic lunch to have midday. Cost is $14 per student and chaperones are free. Please RSVP here ONLY if committing by September 10. Be sure to sign up each person that is attending in your family. Bring cash to pay me that day at the field trip as I must make one payment for the group.
