November/December News 2018

Dear SCCS families,

 

Happy November! In this season where we focus on being grateful, I pray that gratitude is a matter of the heart for you, and not only a holiday sentiment. Our family is grateful for you, and the freedom and privilege of homeschooling with families like yours.

 

Below are the activities coming up over the next two months. We simplify things some because it can be busy and stressful, but I hope we never miss an opportunity to give of our time to serve others. One of my favorite annual events and ways to serve is our schoolwide effort to provide shoeboxes of needed items and fun toys for children who may not receive any other Christmas gift. Please join us to fill shoeboxes with items you have purchased with your students, and I can turn them in for you  at our church if you don't have a drop off location. Several families have signed up for the art workshop we have next week, held at the Art Studio of Calera, which is owned by Alison Baggett, a mom from SCCS.
