Hi everyone,
We were so thankful for the good turnout and interest in the Debate Club starting next month with Coach Skip Coulter. Our plan right now is to start Wednesday *September 10* and meet from 1:30-3:30. This is a week later than the previously mentioned date. There will probably be one week taken off for Coach's trip already scheduled but there should be 7 weeks of club meetings.
Important Details:
We will probably meet in bldg C like we did for the meeting, but I'll verify that before the first meeting.
Please be sure you're a few minutes early so that class can start by 1:30.
Students will need a 8.5 x 14" legal pad (Amazon carries these) and 2 pens of different colors.
We ask for a fee of $15 per student per class, however if that is an issue for your family please let us know. The goal is to have a good size club to learn and debate together and should not be cost prohibitive. The fee is paid the first week to SCCS via PayPal, check or cash. If you need to split it into two payments that is fine too. I'll collect payment and give it to Coach all at once so he doesn't have to keep up with the fees.
If you plan to commit to this activity, reply with your student(s) name and age then I’ll get a class roster to Coach by 9/3. Looking forward to another year of great skills gained!
