Alabama Ballet is pleased to announce the return of our FREE Student Show Matinees for our 2021-22 season! We hope your students, kindergarten through 12th grade, can join us for one, or all four of our major productions this season. We know that you understand the importance of exposing your students to the arts and we appreciate that you recognize the benefits of bringing them to see our professional ballet company perform classical and contemporary works.
First up is George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®! Alabama Ballet is proud to present George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® as one of only eight companies in the world licensed by The Balanchine Trust to perform this holiday masterpiece. Tchaikovsky’s beloved melodies transport the young and young at heart to a magical world where mischievous mice besiege a battalion of toy soldiers, and an onstage blizzard leads to an enchanted Land of Sweets.
Student tickets are FREE. Adult chaperones are $28 each. We must place our order early to get a good block of seats, so please RSVP and pay by 9/6.
