Each year we gather to fill shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child which is a fun way to involve our children in giving to other children around the world. Packing week is less than three months away! Now is a great time to pick up school supply items which are on sale everywhere right now. Hygiene items like soap, washcloths, toothbrushes etc are always appreciated also. One special toy like a soccer ball with pump or stuffed animal added in will definitely bring smiles. As you are buying groceries and items for your family in the next few weeks, feel free to slowly gather up any of these to pack with us on November 8.
