Dear SCCS families,
Though it is summer break for many, I have a few items to share with you and hope you'll mark your calendars with some important dates.
Enrollment is ongoing until JUNE 30. After that time, there is a significant late fee added to tuition for new and re-enrolling families, so please keep that in mind even if you have already updated information for your students on the SCCS website but have not submitted tuition. Because we have our own students to prepare for next school year, my administrative helpers and I need to wrap up paperwork for the upcoming year as soon as possible, so thank you for handling that. If you have friends considering joining us, please remind them of this as well.
Our annual SCCS Family Meeting is on July 17 at 6:30 at the church address below. This is a very important meeting especially for new families to attend and children are welcome if they can sit quietly. We keep it brief, sharing basic info about our school and the year to come, and we work hard to finish within an hour. More details coming soon on that, but please add it to your calendar and make every effort to be present.
We are always working to better meet the needs of our SCCS families, and one area that has become more of a priority is planning some activities for teens in our school. If you'd like to help coordinate some of those, or have suggestions of events your teenagers would enjoy, please let me know so we can get that going!
