Dear SCCS parents,
Congratulations to all the families who have completed the school year! I pray that your 2022-23 was a great success educationally, there was growth spiritually, and that parents and students enjoyed time together!
Here are a few notes and reminders for the summer and new school year ahead:
ATTENDANCE:
Our one bit of paperwork required after enrollment is attendance reports that must be submitted by June 30. As the annual attendance report is our only requirement beyond enrollment form submission when initially registering with SCCS, it is imperative that families cooperate with this policy. Neglecting to submit attendance may result in denial of an enrollment application the subsequent year. Please see options of how to send that in here. If you will not finish school by June 30, please just let me know.
RE-ENROLLMENT:
I am thankful for many of you who have already re-enrolled. If you haven't yet, remember that tuition remains $120 until June 30. That will increase with a late fee added after that point. Feel free to refer friends to us for info on homeschooling. If SCCS isn't the right fit, we'd be glad to help them find the support they need!
FAMILY WELCOME MEETING:
On August 15, we will have a meeting to welcome families to our school and to kick off the 2023-4 school year. We are already planning for the upcoming year with some fun and enrichment that you will want to hear about! This meeting lasts only ONE hour, is a great time to meet the administrative team, ask your questions, get needed info on field trips, teen activities, extra curricular options, and more. ALL families (new and returning parents and students alike) are invited and encouraged to attend. We will be giving out some info for the year to come that will benefit everyone. Mark your calendar now!
