Dear SCCS parents,
Our first schoolwide event is scheduled for August 26, at 6:30 pm. This back-to-school meeting is an opportunity to meet our administrative team, receive a school handbook, hear briefly about opportunities to get involved in activities and groups, and also have teacher and student ID photos made.
To answer a few questions:
IDs are not required, but they are a nice option for those who want a photo ID for their students, or parents will take advantage of the ID to get teacher discounts at various places. If you are unable to attend the meeting, there will be an option to submit photos later to get the IDs made afterward and mailed to you.
We greatly encourage you to attend this meeting, and work hard to keep it limited to an hour. You're welcome to stay longer if needed to ask questions, but our planned sharing portion will be done by 7:30.
Children are welcome to attend with you. We will be in building B at Shelby Crossings.
Social distancing measures will be in place.
