Lanark Alabama Nature Center, Millbrook
Join us for a fun day outdoors as we enjoy an aquatic and insect roundup, as well as a wildlife hike. We will have a break for lunch as well. Please note the grades these sessions are geared toward; that doesn't mean you cannot sign up for them with children of varying ages. That information mainly reflects the standards met for Alabama public schools, so feel free to register children who are outside of those grade ranges.
Aquatic Roundup & Insect Roundup (geared toward grades 3-5)
Wildlife Hike & Mammals of AL and visit the Discovery Hall (geared toward grades 6-8)
Pack a picnic lunch and be sure everyone wears close-toed shoes and is dressed appropriately for outdoor activities. Feel free to wear your SCCS field trip shirt.
This field trip will last approximately 4.5 hours.
